A decent contingent of Brit Guys have converged from Sheffield and Australia to try to break the singles title duck for 2009. Fingers crossed!
Leading hopes rest with GB #3 Josh Goodall, world ranked 204, who's 2nd seed here and scheduled to meet the world 189 in the final if the seedings work out. Josh had a comfortable first round today just dropping 2 games.
His only British companion in round 2 is James Ward who is seeded 6th and scheduled to meet the top seed in the QF. He had a decent work-out today before progressing 6-4 7-5

; and now faces the Russian qualifier who today put Chris Eaton out 4-6 6-0 6-3.
