And now the points from Frinton!

The final grasscourt ITF was a fruitful source of ranking points for several Brit Guys especially title winner Dan Cox (who will have another bumper rise next week after lifting the Dublin $15k yesterday )

Former GB #2 Josh Goodall was runner-up in Frinton and is today +19 and is up one in the GB pecking order for the second week running

Jamie Delgado rises 13 places in the doubles list on the back of lifting the $30k+H Challenger dubs title in Recanati, Italy at the weekend whilst Dom Inglot, after reaching the semis of the $50k Challenger in Lexington, KY, USA last week, is also +13 to a new CH #138

Top 10 Brits for singles: 4 Andy, 190 Boggo, 247 Jamie B, 289 James W, 296 Bloomers, 337 Josh, 363 Dan S, 366 Dan E, 444 Mors, 498 Alex

Josh Milton's turn at the old one-two!

Dan Cox had his two excellent weeks rankings-wise; this week is the first of Josh's two! Up 123 this week, thanks to his points from Chiswick, to be world #622 with a similar big bounce next week from his Roehampton title win!

The points from the Vancouver $100k have gone on straightaway, of course, so James Ward +15 in the singles ; and Dom Inglot, title winner, +13 to new CH world #124 in the dubs.

Andy Murray, defending 1000 points in Canada...Montreal last year, Toronto this, needs a very good week this week if he's to keep his world #4 slot...

GB top 10 singles this week: 4 Andy; 220 Boggo; 249 Jamie B; 268 James; 285 Bloomers; 351 Josh G; 367 Dan S; 369 Dan E; 406 Mors; 485 Dan C

GB top 10 doubles this week: 45 Ken; 49 Colin; 59 Ross; 83 Jamie M; 107 Jonny; 111 Jamie D; 124 Dom; 160 Chris; 290 Josh G; 322 Jamie B

Andy Murray defends his 1000 points and how!!

Big news today (apart from Josh Milton +127 today to be world # 495 to be inside the top 500 for the first time! ; and Dom Inglot lifting the $50k Binghampton title with Treat Huey (PHI) for their second title in 8 days...beating Flemski en route ...and +4 to new CH world #120 ) is Andy not only staving off the threat to his world #4 status but barring an unlikely sequence at this week's Cincinnati ATP1000 ensuring he's a top 4 seed at the US Open...

And, having downed Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer in straight sets on successive days to retain his Canadian 1000 ATP points from last year's title, who's to say he ain't now favourite to land the Flushing Meadow big one?!

World top 8 this week: Nadal 10,925 pts; Federer 7,215; Djokovic 7,085; Andy 5,305; Soderling 4,830; Davydenko 4,195; Berdych 3,950; Verdasco 3,430.

Andy's "only" defending 360 points this week for a Cincinnati semi-final place last year...
