Took my eye off the ball!

As well as the ITF $50k for the women there's an ATP 42,500 Euro event for the men too!

Great to report a return to form for Josh Goodall who made his way through 3 rounds of qualifying and followed it up with a superb win in R1 over Scoville Jenkins of the US by 6-7 6-4 7-6

Josh joined in R2 by Wild Card Chris Eaton who beat Kevin Anderson of the RSA by 6-4 4-6 7-6

Dan Evans went down in R1 in 3 sets but Alex Bogdanovic, Dan Cox and Colin Fleming yet to play their R1 matches. Good luck, Guys!

Only one more Brit into the last 16
But 3 in the last 16 ain't too shabby

Alex beat a Japanese qualifier 7-6(6) 6-2 while Colin Fleming went agonisingly close in his R1 before going down 7-6(5) 7-5

Sebastian Grosjean had too much for Dan Cox who went down 1&3

Good luck to Alex, Chris and Josh tomorrow!

Great stuff again from Josh!

It's 5 wins on the trot here for Josh now after his 6-2 2-6 7-6(5) victory yesterday over Roger-Vasselin of France. Kudos to hold nerve in that tight 3rd, Josh!

Next up is Prakash Armitraj of India in the QFs. Go, Josh!

Alex went down agonisingly 4-6 7-5 7-6(5) in R2 yesterday and Chris also went down 6-2 7-5 to the 4th seed

YAY!

The Josh Goodall bandwagon continues to roll!

Nice win 4&4 in the QFs ;sets up a semi against the 5th seed and world 131 Bozoljac of Serbia. Good luck, Josh!

30 ranking points in the bank so far including the 3 from qualifying. Should take him back inside the top 200 from his current world ranking 217. One more win should get him the GB #2 berth back and the title should see him overhaul his career high 187. Go, Josh!

More than Josh!

It was a tough ask and Josh gave it a good go but went down 5-7 in the first set tiebreaker and then 3-6 in the second to miss out on the final. Been a great week though!
