2 top Brit Guy pairings in the dubs here!

3 of our 4 top 100 doubles men are here (with only Ross Hutchins not, he's in Japan for the Tokyo ATP500); that's Ken Skupski, world #75, and Colin Fleming, world #77, fresh from their ATP250 title triumph in Metz taking up their slot as top seeds here ; and Jamie Murray, world #96, with Jamie Delgado, world #124, who have clocked up three Challenger titles together over the past 6 weeks.

Keep up the great work, Guys!

Jonathan Marray, world #114, is also here; he and his Pakistani partner have won their R1 already, 10-8 in the match tiebreaker

One pair through, one pair down

Good to report the top seeds (Flemski ) saw off the tricky French pairing of Clement & Ascione 7-5 6-2 in R1

Sadly, the two Jamies got off to a slow start against the 4th seeds with a bagel in the first set; closer in the second but 6-4 and out

Jonathan and partner face the 3rd seeds in the QFs to face Flemski, all being well, in the semis

Heartbreak city

British interest has ended at the QF stage in two desparately close encounters; Flemski going down 12-10 in the match tiebreaker and Jonathan likewise by 10-7.

Heigh ho; move on...

POSTSCRIPT: Picked the wrong week to focus on ; should've picked Orleans in October which Flemski won ; or St Petersburg for that matter, although that did receive due Stop Press attention
