Huge turn-out of Brit Guys in Cardiff this week!

11 of the top 20 Brit Guys are taking part in this week's $15,000 ITF in Wales with GB #4 Josh Goodall leading the charge together with GB #5 Dan Evans hoping to go one better than his runner-up spot in Glasgow last week and GB #7 Richard Bloomfield.

Good luck everybody!

Curate's egg day at Cardiff!

Biggest upset of the day at the top of the draw with Josh Goodall going down 4&2 to Brit Guy qualifier Maniel Bains; so that's for Josh and for Maniel; disappointment too for 7th seed Richard Bloomfield who had to retire at 4-6 1-3

There are still 7 Brit Guys standing in R2, albeit only one got through at the expense of a non-Brit, namely Neil Pauffley who put out the Estonian 8th seed 6-1 in the 3rd

Also through are 4th seed Dan Evans plus Joshua Milton, David Rice, Marcus Willis and Dominic Inglot

Take a bow, Marcus Willis!

Superb stuff from Marcus in Cardiff, beating the Belarussan 3rd seed in R2 in a thriller 3-6 6-3 7-6(6) , and then winning his QF 3&0

Second seed next...

In the other half of the draw, Dan Evans has justified his seeding winning his R2 7-5 6-3 and then his QF 6-2 5-7 6-4

In the dubs, second seeds Tim Bradshaw and Alex Slabinsky are through to the final to take on the Irish 3rd seeds. Good luck guys

No titles for GBR in Cardiff this week

Bad luck, guys; Dan and Marcus went down in the singles SFs and the dubs final went the way of the Irish.

All hopes on Flemski in St Petersburg this week then
